IShare this poem:
saw something
In your face when you looked at me An old shade in your smile When you peeked at me Another place Another time Buried? In a now too fragile human mind There when your skin was Lizzy-green Not speckled white There That woman Always up for a fight An arrogant warrior When that soft smooth touch Was a vicious and leathered claw Recognition is a treacherous chess game Who am I really? What's your real name? Wave the willow Clap a mysterious hand And ease the fog Paint you a muddled picture Random words in a stripped-down blog Haunted desires Tethered to an invisible string Curious needs I saw something It's a murky script of chance I saw something It's got wings And it can dance And kill Like no one else in this foreign place Looks are deceiving Says the face I am the frightening scent of the chase Your Face © 2008 Ahkenaton
