What's In A Woman?

W hat's in a woman?
What are they afraid of?
From their cross-bred pulpits
They rant and they rave
In the name of some kind of holy
They all but made her an undignified slave
A handful of "men" throughout history
In the shadows of so-called sin
Demonizing all good things feminine

No power for her in their church
Second tier in their society
Did you hear?
Them and their pious hypocrisy
Behind closed suits and frocks
Centuries of lies and debauchery

Covered and tucked away
Yea,
That is the righteous way
The word as it was written
Now then, children let us pray
What's in a woman?
What are they afraid of?
The truth is here or there
Not sitting up above

It is a tad amusing
The irony
Someday
Someday divine water may yet
Cleanse and drown the See
And in turn explode that myth of virginity

What's in a woman?
What are they afraid of?
There are only four letters
In a legend called love
