I've been in love before you know, 
lotsa times.
I'm no rookie, been around the block
and I thought I knew all the signs.

Dunno whats up, my friends say, what's gotten 
into his head?
He's calmer, upbeat, smiles and talks more,
we've never seen him this extroverted.

So I decided to investigate, get down and dirty,
flush the suspect out.
Take a long hard look inside, try to find  
what the hell it is they're talking about.

Maybe its the job, things are finally starting to 
come around.
Perhaps its my new TV, fifty inches, PIP,
Dolby Surround Sound.

Been sleeping and eating well, the kids are fine.
Everything's Irie, hardly any strife.
On top of my yoga, running consistently, 
I'm in the best shape of my life.

Examined all the evidence babe, top to bottom,
through and through.
It doesn't add up, everything keeps coming 
back to you.

Now I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but I'm quite certain 
that I've wrapped up this little mystery.
Yep, no doubt.
You are the best damn thing that's
ever happened to me.
