You're everything
To and for
Moi
The perfect shoe
No one else
Fits me like you do
And...
I want to be with you
You've got to know
I can touch you
Hold you
Love you
But I can't let you go

You are my words
The stroke in my pen
My “joint” on days when
I'm empty
Your memory, your presence inspires
And chases away
Temporarily
The blues and ghosts that continually
Haunts me
Here
You are my sky,
Marlyne dear, you are my air
My greatest strength and my biggest fear
Never more than a stones' throw
How can I now let you go?

One foot in the dark
One step in the light
A sense of wrong
A sense of right
The celestial branches of a tree
The various paths to one destiny
You are a better person than I'll ever be
I'm still growing
Still learning my craft
Other “women” have come and gone
Chasing the material
The worldly physical
 Unable to fathom my dreams
And contempt for their human schemes
This space is not my place
This face is not my face
This name is not my name
The green and blue is not my natural game
At the risk of many a wrath
Gander up…
I'm ready to walk my path

My insatiable thirst for
Blood
War
Power
Knowledge
The truth beyond the lying ledge
My ardent need for
Silence
Mastery
Time alone with my shadow
The story untold you know
I am what I am
I am what most cannot see
And all that I am
Wants you with me

Inside of my darkened world
You are the light that warms my soul
Without you
I'll lose control
Run a different race
Paint red another space
Where it all began
Around the rim and
Without you
Back to square one
Between the cold and the heat
There has to be a world
Where you and I meet

No one else loves me
The way you do
M
You are my perfect shoe

I can hold you
I can touch
I will love you
Don't ask me to let you go

I can't…
