Perfect Blue - 4 MaC

Sitting beneath
A pristine sky
Seamless
The most natural hue
Nary a cloud
Or a roaring crowd
Not a single object flew
Through
This crystal clear expanse
Unbroken
An absolutely perfect blue

And from this virgin celestial well
A great bubble fell
Nitrogen colored
Half filled with a seaweed green liquid
Half full of oxygen rich fire
The consummate sphere
Descending on delicate strings
Of noontide air
And as it turned over and over
And fell closer and further
They merged
Passing through each other
Neither losing its luster
Water and fire
The oddest mixture
Coexisting
Thriving
Extraordinary
Simply the most fascinating thing
From every point of view
The impossible
Was somehow possible

And I tried to catch it
Jumping up and making haste
But alas!
I was already too late
For there appeared
From a spot where nothing grew
A mighty twin-horned beast
A dragon with a surprising hue
A stunning shade
Of perfect blue

And she spoke thus…

Warrior Strong
From your distant past
This is your future song...
