Patriot Shades:

Everybody's a patriot When somebody else's blood falling and dying Everybody's a freaking patriot When somebody else's momma wailing and bawling Is it just... Delusory rhetoric or something legit? Or is simply old fashioned shtick? Can the towering math compute In the absence of twin logic and steely truth? How can you be getting stronger If your head is scheming and dealing Systematically making you weaker As the wild winds blow And the game cocks crow Is there anyone who still knows for sure Who and what the hell they've been fighting for Hark the silver-tongued salesman is knocking I wonder who's country he's selling This term And from which direction are the multitude of Lizard lovers already marching It's a tough, tough game of Blind man's bluff The dreaded crucible A dash of delusion A pinch of Illusion A well researched measure of collution Can you name that faux chemical reaction Tarzan and Jane These modern jungle wranglers Have sworn allegiance to a banner with exotic colors Far flung stars and suns Every selected, "elected" self directed And or misdirected politician Is somebody's well oiled magician Makes Makes no sense That depends on your side of the fence Cuz Everybody's a patriot When somebody else's blood spilling and drying Everybody's a patriot When somebody else's momma swaying and praying In whom do you trust? Can you smell or recognize organized chaos? Ha!
