here is nothing in the word No truth No vision No salvation No redemption There is nothing substantial in the word Only shades and skillfully crafted manipulation Lacking knowing You believe in what you don't know Lacking knowing You were susceptible To the deceivers cosmic hustle and flow Where was He then Man Before the Genesis of Eden What was He then Man Before the advent of revelation The wheel is still spinning Look at him on bended knee As the time turns and burns Poor man Blind once again Looking south to a See unable to see the obvious Rich man Deaf again Standing beneath the bell and unable to hear the obvious Avaricious man Spoon-fed the righteous crust from womb to dust A pathetic mental and physical slave Hopelessly shackled by foolish trust The wonders of the Universe Multiple suns and moons Shifting purple skies Magnificent planets and creatures Yellow green and blood red eyes Outside the scope of a tagged and boxed mind That is not in the word You're getting high on a violently empty rhyme The creators creation Mere leaves on the Tree of life They stole the "key" and attempted to flee One thief coveting a warriors' wife Grandiose schemes and grand failures The rise of all things holy Their power and their glory Riches for the select few The keepers of a polluted faith These craven pretenders to the throne of Blue That is not in the word As it was scripted for you And so... When reality finally falls up and down And the illusion breaks And the chains melt from an ancient sound Freeing your real mind Suddenly you are waking sans false beliefs to find Heaven is and always was Closed to mankind The snakes and fishes alike And you are muddled and psyched Entrenched on the road to hell In a long long long line Facing the wrath of the sword No prayers just fears That is not in the word As it was edited for you Behold now if you can An Engel with sky-colored wings Saluting a great Daimon And striking the penultimate chord That is not in the word There is nothing...
