In between
The melodic drops of a spring rain
The patterned scatter
The helter-skelter of pitter-patter
Between the one-drop drumbeat
Of a musing heartbeat
Came a moment
Pristine stillness
A fraction of a stolen second
Maybe more
Less maybe
That seemed to last an eternity
I felt an echo
A wave
Sans impurity
Crystal
Digital
Stereo quality
And heard a distant  and soclose whisper

Daemon I will love you forever
