who decides
what's evil
and what's not?
that's a human thing
a hypocritical song they sing
it's bad when they say so
good when they feel so
made in the image of their god
the same one who made
Theresa “good” and Adolph “bad”
one man's hell
is an alien’s paradise
they want "power"
then you pay the price
when is it okay to take a life
when is it okay to generate strife
Is it evil when Jack kills with impunity
and good when a “company”
murders wholesale
in the name of secrecy or “national” security?
who drew the line?
who made the rules?
who decided
“cools” and “fools”?
Is it kosher
To slice, dice and “enhance”
Mother Nature
To create something “better”?
There’s nothing some “men” wouldn’t do
Is it evil when somebody else
does it better than you?
It is so easy to blame it all
On outside influence
And shadows tall
Perhaps you should
blame the “one” who made you
after all…
He fucked up the software
Eons later and you still can’t
Get it together here
Don’t blame us
Gus
It’s relative
Take and give
one man's hell
is an alien’s paradise
they want "power"
then you pay the price
and so I look "in"
to an ancient eye
and ponder
who’s rules are they playing by?
In some quarters
It’s considered “evil” to tell a lie
And obliterate innocent travellers
From the sky
And on the wind, words
Like phony
And immorality
Gently floats by
Without touching
ME
and my
Necromancy
Cogitating Immorality
