Greenhouse In Red

There' s a sky outside
But no air
It is a massive room
Walls and roof glassed crystal clear
A grayish mist everywhere
Grayish plants unusual
Tar black roots of the colossal kind
Hanging from the ceiling in…
A greenhouse from the alien mind
There is someone
Something hiding here
You can almost taste the fear
And without seeing you know
Someone
Something is coming
A hunter is hunting…
Someone
Something
And out of the mist

A face appears
Ghost from the well
A beast from the pages of hell
Creature from the abyss
Blacker than the heart of night
Razor toothed
Enraged and glowing
Ruby
In the freakish lighting
Someone is hiding
Here
A predator is searching
Here
The inevitable end
It's drawing near
Thick and palpable
You can almost taste the fear
The ominous cloak of despair
That surrounds the shadow of the dead
Among the gigantic roots and exotic shoots
A hungry dragon stalking
A fury soon to be fed
A greenhouse soon to be spattered
In flesh and colors, yellow or perhaps red

It's a matter of time

Is there a safe place
Is anybody's space?
