The Shadow King

Soul Of A Warrior

J&M

I came from a great distance
To claim what was gifted me
I heard they're stranded here
The reptilian architects of evil
And so I came
An Engel's call
Echoing in my left ear...
Dreaded cosmic warrior
With no fear  I came...
Here

Original Montserratians

Came from beyond the stars
In a colossal spaceship
Fugitives on a mission "seeding" trip
Found a planet blue
A planet young
A planet green
Not a trace of life to be seen

Dragon Song

If I'm the verge of history
On the edge of a throne
It's because they love me
My reptilian ancestors
Those great warriors
Architects of the Book
Builders of the city
Creators of the repository

Shadow Dancer

Stood on the edge of a clearing
Pie faced moon
Big sky, rich tar the night was coloring
Fat bright celestial candles
A cold wind quiet as death
Naked trees with legs like spindles
And saw a shadow dancing
As he sang
In an unfamiliar tongue
A faintly familiar song

Star light star bright
I'll dance
For that which is mine
I'll crawl along the thorny vine
For that which is mine
I'll kill
Slay at will
Per compulsion
For the fun
I'll kill the farmer's swine
For that which is mine
I'll desecrate
The wizard's grave
Behead the righteous knave
Let it flow and flow
The thick black blood
Like so much vintage wine
For that which is mine
Father moon
On your wings I will sail
Sister time
On and On
For that which is mine
No task too cold
No mission too bold
No safe haven in the fold
No such thing as "line"
Nothing left standing between me
And that which is mine
Touch the wall touch the wall
Watch it fall, watch it fall

And as the raven cleared
Bowing to the kiss of a stalking dawn
Looked away and back and...
In a heartbeat
The Shadow was gone
Perhaps up or down to bed
His weird strain
Still resonating through my head

Same old lyrics, new choreographer
New page, same old Shadow Dancer

I was on the outer edge of a clearing...
