Part humanoid and part rainbow fish
She was in the water
Queen in her natural element
Curious
I can hear a song and taste a cosmic scent
She's sees me
Turns and comes
Shifts
Steps out of the water
Breathtaking
Marble-white footsteps in pristine black sand
Silence
Long, long, long hair
Emerald eyes
Au naturel and gloriously wet
A smile
A secret like-hearts will forever share
Two worlds colliding
The chosen
I've got no fear

Emerald eyes
She knows my real name
Where I've been
Where I'm from
Alone beneath the Island stars
I listen to a seldom told story
Of..
Love
Lust
Pain
Misery
Alone beneath the Island stars
I listen to a story of betrayal
Survival
And past, present and future wars
Webbed fingers on my face
Close my eyes
And I can see
The final destination
The legacy
The destiny
A path gifted
Accepted
Knowledge from the beginning of time
Reptiles and Mers
Shaded memories of old distant worlds
Twin moons
Twin suns
Knowledge the wicked can't buy with...
All of their dirty money and guns

Emerald eyes
On a gorgeous liquid rose
I'm a creature in an exotic moment
Only the chosen knows

Emerald eyes
Holding me on a beam somewhere between wrong and right
There are no freaking clouds
On Chances Mountain tonight

Nothing comes between us again
Nothing at all
I'm dreaming of blood and blood-red skies
