Sailing a vengeful cosmic stream
On burning wings
It would seem
If at all
Another twinkling gleam
For many a nightmare
For some a fulfilled dream

Large
The terrestrial fear
Larger
As the destroyer gets near
Nearer

Through the tech fences and the tech barbs
Never slowing
The target grows
Killer, killer coming through
Ground zero
The ages-old polluted green and blue

Darkened skies
Midnight
What?
Daylight still says the clock
Boom
ET collides with genetically modified earth
Heavenwards
Flies the toxic dirt

Chaos
The wind sweeping the land
Echoing the plight of a dead and dying man
Thriving once
It's all shifting now to bare desert sand

Covetous
Collusion
Conducing
Collision
Your date
Your fate
Chalked in white on a pitch black slate
